Kazakhstan and Pakistan Intend to Intensify Cooperation in Science and Technology

Islamabad, April 8, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin met with the Federal Minister of Science and Technology of Pakistan, Khalid Hussain Magsi.

During the negotiations, Ambassador Kistafin spoke about the work carried out within the framework of strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan, emphasizing the particular importance of developing interaction in the field of science and technology, including strengthening ties between scientific organizations and scientists of the two countries. In this context, the Ambassador informed the Minister about the events to be held at the end of April this year, those aimed at expanding scientific and technical cooperation and the documents planned for signing in this area.

In turn, Minister Magsi fully supported the announced initiatives, expressing interest in establishing close cooperation with scientific and academic circles of the Republic of Kazakhstan, announcing his intention to visit Kazakhstan to establish contacts with authorized government agencies and organizations.

As a result of the meeting it was agreed to implement specific projects in bilateral format in the current year.
