
Riyadh, February 10, 2025 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Madiyar Menilbekov, held a meeting with Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh. During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on key areas of religious, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador Menilbekov informed his interlocutor about the preparations for the VIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, which will be held in Kazakhstan this year, and handed over a special invitation from the Chairperson of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Maulen Ashimbayev.
In turn, Abdullatif Al Sheikh emphasized the important role of the Congress, which over more than twenty years has contributed to the development of interfaith dialogue and the strengthening of mutual understanding and cooperation between the world community, and gratefully accepted the invitation.
As a result of the meeting, the sides agreed to further develop spiritual, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia.
