QazaqGaz and Kazazot Signed an Agreement in the Field of Geological Exploration

Astana - Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC «NC «QazaqGaz» on exploration and prospective projects Ulan Burkitov and General Director of JSC «Kazazot» Arman Mauleshev signed an agreement on joint exploration works at the promising area Severny-2 in Aktobe region.

Astana - Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC “NC ‘QazaqGaz’ on exploration and prospective projects Ulan Burkitov and General Director of JSC ‘Kazazot’ Arman Mauleshev signed an agreement on joint exploration works at the promising area Severny-2 in Aktobe region. The Severny 2 area is located in the gas-bearing area of the Ustyurt-Bozashinsky sedimentary basin, which presents great prospects for the discovery of gas and gas condensate fields.

This cooperation is carried out within the framework of realization of the order of the Head of State and in accordance with the strategy of “NC ‘QazaqGaz’ JSC to increase the gas resource base of the country.

It should be noted that JSC “NC ‘QazaqGaz’ on a permanent basis carries out work on analysis of sedimentary basins of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the purpose of geological exploration. The National Gas Company is open to cooperation with both Kazakhstani and international companies on joint realization of subsoil use projects on hydrocarbons.
