​Smuggled Horns and Hides

On February 24, at the check point in Baida village of Kurmangazy District, the frontier guards arrested smuggled goods.

According to Gulnazira Mukhtarova, the head of press service of the regional Internal Affairs Department, during inspection of VAZ-21099 car (the driver was 29-y.o. citizen of the Russian Federation) the police found in the car cabin four horns of saiga antelope. In the "Mercedes" car that was following the first vehicle (the driver was also the citizen of the Russian Federation), the police found illegal 100 fox hides.

The police investigation is ongoing. The Kurmangazy District Police Department is carrying out the investigation.
