Kazakh Defense Minister pays visit to special purpose troop units with surprise check

Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan Imangali Tasmagambetov made a surprise check of the combat readiness of the special purpose troop units on February 3.

Tasmagambetov made a sudden check of the special purpose troops of the regional command "South" and "West", reports the press service of the Kazakh defense ministry.

"The main purpose of the surprise check is to assess the real combat readiness of the special purpose troops," said the press service.
