Brent crude oil price falls below $37 per barrel

Futures price for Brent crude oil delivery in January 2016 on the London ICE exchange fell by 1.15% to $36.95 per barrel, breaking the mark of $37 per barrel.

The last time the price of Brent crude oil fell below this figure was on December 14 when it happened the first time since December 2008.
