President in Atyrau: "Those who groundlessly speak ill, will be cruelly punished"

Today the working visit of the president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to Atyrau has been completed.

N. Nazarbayev arrived to Atyrau on September 16. In the morning on September 17 he visited a number of facilities in our region. First the delegation visited PKF Continent Co LTD LLP - fiber-optical cable production plant (general director Semyon Khvan). The enterprise has been included into Industrialization Map and receives support from “Business Road Map -2020" state program Then the president visited the plant for production of large-size and superheavy equipment "AtyrauNefteMash" (Sagat Tugelbaev), from there he went to Saltanat Saraiy where himself wa the moderator of the extended meeting. With reports on social and economic situation and the course of realization of state programs RoK Minister on investments and development Aset Isekeshev made the presentation, then took the floor the chairman of the board of KazMunayGas JSC Oil Company Sauat Mynbaev, the Governor of Atyrau Oblast Baktykozha Izmukhambetov, the Governor of Mangistau Oblast Alik Aidarbaev, the Governor of West Kazakhstan Oblast Nurlan Nogaev, the Governor of Aktove Oblast Berdibek Saparbaev, etc.

Finishing the meeting, the president called the current recession of economy "natural process" after which inevitably will follow the growth – but not so quickly as during the crisis of 2008-2009, he warned. He assumed that the low cost of oil after return to the market of Iran and Iraq will last several years ("good if it will cost 50-60 dollars") therefore he asked his subordinates "not to look at the oil" and to learn to live in conditions when it costs 40-50 dollars.

– The stability issue in the whole world is to give jobs (to the population), this issue if the main one around the world, - said N. Nazarbayev. Then he unexpectedly made an addressed warning: – All sorts of provokers will be not forgiven, and those who groundlessly speak ill about someone, slanders, we will punish cruelly in accordance with the law. Because we need to pass this difficult period quietly, peacefully and amicably. Together. And to win it. And to come to a new road of development, so it will be.

After the meeting the president held personal meetings with heads of the regions.

Apart from the Minister Isekeshev and the Chairman of the board of KazMunayGas Mynbaev, President of Kazakhstan during his trip was accompanied by the Minister of Energy Vladimir Shkolnik, the Chairman of Presidium of National Chamber of Businessmen Kazakhstan Timur Kulibaev and others.
