Kazakhstan plans to explore 15 new fields

Minister for Investment and Development Asset IssekeshevKazakhstan plans to open not less than 15 new deposits, Minister for Investment and Development Asset Issekeshev said at Majilis plenary session, azh.kz refers to inform.kz.

"According to preliminary data of McKinsey & Company, the company will open not less than 15 new deposits in case of mass exploration in Kazakhstan. In this regard, the bill, presented at today's session, provides for simplification of the procedure for granting mineral rights, exploration, with an annual increasing rate of rent," said A.Issekeshev presenting the bill "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on subsurface management".
