RFE - Nine Sentenced In Kazakhstan On Terrorism Charges - A court in Kazakhstan's western city of Atyrau has sentenced nine local men to prison terms of between six and 23 years for their involvement in terrorist activities.

Reuters - Kazakhstan's Kaspi Bank plans Eurobond next week - Kaspi Bank, among Kazakhstan's top 10 lenders, plans to launch a dollar-denominated Eurobond and will start a roadshow on Oct. 14, financial market sources told Reuters on Thursday.

Caspian pipeline drops Kashagan oil from Oct schedule - CPC to increase oil supplies in October due to more Tengiz volumes

UPI - Kashagan oil late out of gate - North Caspian Operating Co. announced it reached a production rate of 75,000 barrels of oil per day from the Kashagan field in the Caspian Sea early this week. The company said it expected to be able to secure that level within the next few days though an Oct. 1 deadline for 75,000 bpd was missed.
