British Ambassador Visits Atyrau

February 7, Atyrau Oblast Governor Baktykozha Izmukhambetov met the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Great Britain to Kazakhstan Carolyn Browne and the embassy's regional adviser on energy issues Johnathan Cook.

This is the first visit of Mrs. Browne to our region. The sides discussed joint projects in the oil/gas and educational spheres.

To-date, 81 companies with British participation are operating in Atyrau Oblast.
