Customs seized pipes smuggled from Turkey

Atyrau Oblast Customs Control Department initiated a criminal case against one of the limited liabilities companies over smuggled goods. 

The company, while importing plastic pipes from Turkey, declared their customs value at 20,912 dollars US.

Local customs officers sent an enquiry to the Turkish colleagues and found out that the goods sender indicated a different value - 83,174 dollars US. i.e. the limited liability company reduced the value on declaration paper by 62,262 dollars US.
