Russian RBC created TV channel in Kazakhstan

The new channel will make coverages on economy, business and politics.

Russian TV channel RBC-TV has been registered in Kazakhstan as "RBC-TV Kazakhstan" legal entity, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to Zakon.kz.

The new channel will make coverages on economy, business and politics, the statement says. "RBC-TV Kazakhstan" will broadcast both Russian and Kazakh programs.

It is known that Kazakhstan had adopted amendments to the legislation, mandating foreign channels to create in 2017 legal entities on Kazakhstan territory and prohibiting advertising on foreign channels.
