Foreign population dropped by 1/3

As reported by the oblast akimat's media service, there are 212 organizations using foreign workforce registered in Atyrau Oblast as of January 1, 2012.

15 meetings of commission for foreign work permit issuance were held over the last year giving out 6,800 licenses.

423 specialists were denied from permit due to improper or incomplete formalization of documents, as well as failure to comply with special conditions.

For the moment, companies that use expatriate workforce have created 5,000 jobs for Kazakh citizens and trained 4,300 people, in accordance with Kazakhstan's legislation.
