Caspian littoral states will be given quotas for sturgeon fishing

Kazakhstan's Majilis ratified agreement on conservation and rational use of Caspian bio- resources.

Caspian littoral states will be given national quotas for sturgeon fishing, the Agriculture Minister of Kazakhstan Asylzhan Mamytbekov said during the debate on ratification bill of the Agreement on the conservation and rational use of the Caspian bio-resources, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.

The agreement is adopted to legally frame the Caspian states' concerted actions in this area, the Minister said.
