​Nazarbayev and head of Total discussed development of Kashagan

Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev has conducted a meeting with Patrick Pouyanne, president of Total company, Akorda reports.

"We are facing big tasks, the main one is development of Kashagan field and other blocks the company is working on. Under involvement of Total the institute of welding is functioning in Kazakhstan, projects in solar energy field are being implemented. I believe we will continue tradition of friendly relations and cooperation on all the directions," said Nazarbayev.
The President marked, Total has been working in Kazakhstan since 1993, taking part in big projects.
The President of Total indicated importance of favorable climate for foreign investors in Kazakhstan, and expressed hope for further cooperation development.
