The city of ‘broken bones’ period

The city cleaning company “SpetsAvtobaza” informed that currently 20 crews are involved in snow cleaning works in Atyrau. However, the citizens of city are complaining that nobody is cleaning the pavements from ice.

According to Askhat Bisengaliyev, the chief of traumatologic unit of the regional hospital, after the snowfall on February 7 the ground is covered with ice and the number of people with bone fractures and seeking medical attention at the traumatologic unit has increased up to 80 people a day. Very often serious fractures of shoulders, hips and shins are registered that require immediate operations.
