Traffic accident cut power to residential quarters

On February 5, at noon at the Taimanov and Gagarin Streets crossing there was a road accident.

According to eyewitnesses, “Volkswagen Passat” was driving along Gagarin Strret and had on-collision with “Nissan-Maxim” that was driving from the side of Orthodox Church. As the result of the collision “Volkswagen Passat” demolished a power line. “Volkswagen Passat” driver was taken to  the regional hospital. The accident led to shutdown of electricity in the nearby residential quarters.
