KazMunayGas Exploration Production JSC (KMG EP) informed about the changes in its Management Board.
Compnay press release informs that Christopher Hopkinson, First Deputy Chair of the Management Board of KazMunaiGas, became a new member of KMG EP Board of Directors. The appointment followed Daniyar Berlibayev’s resignation as Chair of the KMG EP Board of Directors and as a member of the Board of Directors. Christopher Hopkinson was appointed as a member of the KMG EP Board of Directors based on recommendations of a majority of shareholders. Hopkinson has an expertise in KMG in supervising the implementation of strategies of development for subsidiaries, affiliates and joint ventures in oil and gas production.
KMG EP Board appointed Dastan Abdulgafarov, the former Managing Director of Business Development, as the Chief Financial Officer (Deputy CEO for Economy and Finance), reads Company’s press release.
“Zhanneta Bekezhanova, who previously served as Deputy CEO for Economy and Finance, left the post at her own request,” said the message.
On 12 January 2015, during the KMG EP Board of Directors meeting, Aziz Ileuov, the Managing Director for Business Development, was appointed and elected as a member of the Management Board of KMG EP. There are now seven members of the Company’s Management Board.
Management Board of the Company included: Abat Nurseitov – Chief Executive Officer, Kairbek Yeleusinov – Deputy CEO for Operations, Malik Saulebai – Head of Staff, Dastan Abdulgafarov – Chief Financial Officer (Deputy CEO for Economy and Finance), Shane Drader – Finance Director – Finance Controller, Botagoz Ashirbekova – HR Managing Director and Aziz Ileuov - Managing Director for Business Development.
KMG EP is among the top three Kazakh oil and gas producers. The overall production in 2013 was 12.4 million metric tons (an average of 251,000 barrels per day) of crude oil, including the Company’s share in Kazgermunai, CCEL and PKI.
