Section of Beineu-Aktau highway to be reconstructed this year

Reconstruction of a 100km-long section of the Beineu-Aktau highway is set to be finished in 2015. Another 170km-long section will be reconstructed in 2016. 

200 km-long section of the highway was put into commission last year. 

The 470km-long highway is being built as part of the Center-West corridor that will link the center of the country with its western part and give access to the Aktau sea port.

There are plans to reconstruct a 73km-long section of another highway - Zhetybai-Zhanaozen.
