The visa-free regime deal between Kazakhstan and South Korea has come into force, now the citizens of both countries may travel to each others' countries without visa requirements for up to 30 days.
The agreement on visa-free regime between the two countries was signed in the summer of this year by Presidents Nursultan Nazarbayev and Park Geun-hye, azh.kz refers to akipress.
The document aims at further development of cooperation in all spheres, expansion of direct contacts between the citizens of Kazakhstan and South Korea.
South Korea is one of the leading investors in the economy of Kazakhstan. The total volume of South Korean investments to Kazakhstan is about USD 8 billion. The volume of bilateral trade in 2013 amounted to USD 1.3 billion.
