QazaqGaz ranks among CDP leaders for environmental responsibility in the oil and gas sector

JSC NC QazaqGaz has retained its leading position in the international Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) ranking among Kazakhstan’s gas sector companies, achieving a B rating, reports QazaqGaz.

This is a significant milestone that underscores the Company’s strong commitment to effective climate change management and its readiness to adapt to evolving sustainability standards and initiatives.

The CDP disclosure request is supported by around 700 investors and lenders representing more than USD 127 trillion in assets. A strong CDP score is an important factor in enhancing QazaqGaz’s international investment appeal and competitiveness, while also supporting the Company’s progress in greenhouse gas emissions management in line with Kazakhstan’s national goal of achieving carbon neutrality.
