The 9th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) is taking take place at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, from 24 to 28 November 2014, where series of nomination files submitted by Central Asian countries were considered by the Committee for inscription on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
In particular the committee included yesterday "Kazakh traditional art of Dombra Kuy" into the representative list of intangible cultural heritage, UNESCO press service said.
