Military aircraft Su-27 crashed in Almaty region during training flights, the press service of the Ministry of Defense informed.
"September 23, 2014 at about 20.42 during the training flights, the communication with the Su-27 (50) was lost. The crew members were Colonel E. Nauanov and Lieutenant Colonel D. Gorbunov. During the search operations a place of crash was found. The search for the pilots keeps going," - stated in the press release.
According to the military prosecutor's office of Taldykorgan garrison, the crashed plane was found in the morning in Koksu district, 15 km from Zhanalyk village. Emergency services and police are involved in the search operations.
