The servicemen of the Kazakh Airmobile Forces will take part in "Peace Mission 2014" anti-terrorist exercises in China, the Kazakh Defense Ministry said on Aug. 11, bnews.com reports.
"The upcoming joint military anti-terrorist exercises of the armed forces of SCO member-states "Peace Mission 2014" are conducted in accordance with the preparation plan of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2014 academic year and the agreements as part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization from August 24-29, 2014 at the firing range of the People's Republic of China," according to a statement, Trend reported.
The exercises are planned to be held in several stages, where the personnel will be involved in tactical exercises to combat illegal armed groups in the highlands and the settlement.
The exercises will be officially opened on August 24, 2014.
