Consortium memebers and the government of Kazakhstan signed Memorandum on further development of Kashagan project.
This was reported today, June 16, by NCOC in their press release: “Participants of the North Caspian Consortium signed Memorandum with the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan about further stages of development of Kashagan project, including the agreement on discussion of Kazakhstan content and production capacities.
Discussions and cooperation between the government, the participating companies and North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC) within the framework of this Memorandum will continue in the forthcoming months.
Participants of the North Caspian Consortium are: KMG Kashagan B.V. AGIP Caspian Sea B.V. CNPC Kazakhstan B.V., Exxon Mobil Kazakhstan Inc., INPEX North Caspian Sea Ltd. , Shell Kazakhstan Development B.V., Total E&P Kazakhstan.
NCOC is the operator according to the North Caspian Production Sharing Agreement.”
