Marat TazhinKazakhstan's ambassador to Russia Marat Tazhin has been awarded the title of a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS), inform.kz reports.
Graduation ceremony was held on Monday at the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation, the press service of the diplomatic mission reports.
First Vice - President of the Academy of Natural Sciences Lidya Ivanitskaya noted the high level of development of the Kazakh-Russian cooperation. She also said that the award for Mr. Tazhin is a sign of recognition of his contribution to the strengthening and expansion of contacts between scientists of the two states and communities, as well as his personal contribution to the development of sociology. It is worth noting that the Kazakh diplomat has a PhD degree in sociology.
"Today's event is a manifestation of high assessment of scale and depth of the Kazakh-Russian relations, which level has being defined by Nursultan Nazarbayev and Vladimir Putin", said M. Tazhin.
