President signs Decree On changing Almaty city boundaries

Kazakh President has signed the decree on changing Almaty city boundaries, infrom.kz reports citing the press service of Akorda informs.

On changing the boundaries of the city of Almaty

In accordance with Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 1993 "On administrative-territorial structure of the Republic of Kazakhstan" I decree:

1. To change the part of Almaty region lands into the city boundary up to 23200 hectares, including Ili district 604.7 ha, Karasai district up to 16,069.7 ha and Talgar district up to 6525.7 ha. 
2. The Decree comes into force from the date of first publication.
