A green corridor at Bakhty and Pokitu checkpoints at the border between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People's Republic of China will be opened next week, inform.kz reports.
On Monday, December 23, the green corridor will be officially launched at the Kazakh-Chinese border. Reps of the Customs Control Committee of the Kazakh Finance Ministry and the East Kazakhstan regional administration are expected to attend the opening ceremony.
As reported earlier, this December the heads of customs agencies of Kazakhstan and China reached the agreement on the opening of the green corridor at Bakhty and Pokitu checkpoints by yearend.
Bakhty checkpoint is located in Urdzharsk district of East Kazakhstan region 600 km away from Ust-Kamenogorsk.
