Astana to launch precious metals refinery in December

The construction of the precious metals refinery will be completed and first production will be produced in December 2013 in Astana, the press service of the National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" reports.

"The basic phase of construction and finishing works will be completed in November 2013. It is planned to implement starting-up and adjustment works for the first production in December," the statement reads.

JSC "Tau-Ken Samruk" implements the construction of the precious metals refinery in Astana.

The board of the Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" invests 1,03 billion tenge by purchasing common shares in the authorized capital "Tau-Ken Samruk", official website of Strategy 2050 reports.

Refinery is a plant specializing in the processing of industrial products for the recovery of precious metals.
