President Nazarbayev congratulates Kazakhstan on Eid al-Adha

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has congratulated all people of Kazakhstan on the upcoming Eid al-Adha.

"Dear compatriots!

This holiday is one of the greatest spiritual values that bring the nation together. The feast of Eid al-Adha brings prosperity and strengthens unity, compassion and accord, mutual understanding between representatives of various ethnic groups and religions.

It greatly contributes to the consolidation of such humanitarian traditions as donating to the poor and needy. These traditions have been transmitted from generation to generation by our ancestors.

The Muslim community plays the defining role in Kazakhstan in terms of securing unity, accord and stability. It is gratifying to emphasize that cooperation and friendship of various confessions in our country set an example for the world.

I am confident that our people, by preserving and enriching the strength of their spirit, will move along the path of prosperity. May Allah accept all your duas!
