Judges in Clark County are welcoming their counterparts from Kazakhstan as part of a legal learning experience this week.
The Kazakh judges are set to be officially welcomed at the federal courthouse in Las Vegas on Monday morning. They'll be observing civil and criminal cases at the Regional Justice Center and Family Court later in the week.
The visit is part of the Open World, Rule of Law exchange program that gives judges from overseas an inside look inside the American justice system.
The trip isn't all business. Kazakh judges are set to see a Las Vegas show, visit the Fremont Street Experience and tour the Mob Museum.
