A Boeing passenger plane of Air Astana, a domestic air carrier, performing Almaty-Atyrau flight faced problems in wheels when landing in the Atyrau airport.
A source in the airport said the incident took place early morning September 4 as the plane touched down.
Pilots later found a defect in one of shock absorbers.
As the result, the following return flight to Almaty was postponed. Passengers were flown by another aircraft.
Airport's safety inspector says nothing serious happened and the landing may not be classified as emergency.
