President obliges every governor to meet public

Akims of all levels will go public in Kazakhstan following a presidential decree posted at the Ak Orda website, writes Zakon.kz.

With a view of further democratization in the country and to raise accountability of executive bodies before the people, the head of state decreed that governors of every administrative-territorial unit should conduct summary meetings with the population to update them on the pace of ongoing reforms; socioeconomic growth; targets and focus areas of further development.
