A draft law "On Ratification of the Protocol on amendments to the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistancebe between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan as of May 25,1992" has been adopted today at a plenary meeting of the Kazakh Senate.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Samat Ordabayev, presenting the drat law, noted the Protocol was signed on June 7, 2012 in Astana by the heads of the two states to extend the Treaty's validity and to amend a number of articles.
