In accordance with the Nursultan Nazarbayev’s decree Serik Abdenov has been released from the office of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Kazakhstan, Akorda reports.
Tamara Dyusenova, the Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection, will temporarily perform the duties of the Minister of the named ministry.
To recall, former minister Serik Abdenov had fallen under public displeasure for promoting unpopular retirement system reform in Kazakhstan, which reached the peak at a lively press conference explaining the change, when he was pelted with eggs by an activist.
