Mussin to chair accounts committee

Last Friday, Aslan Mussin was assigned the chairman of accounts committee for control over the republican budget, according to the presidential media service.

The 58 year old Aslan Mussin worked as the minister of economy and budget planning in 2006. In 2007, along with his ministerial job he served as vice-premier in the government of the PM Karim Massimov. On September 2, 2007, he was selected the Speaker of the Majilis of the Rok Parliament. Since October 2008, he has been heading the presidential administration.

His predecessor, ex-chairman of accounts committee for control over the republican budget Omarkhan Oksikbayev has been given a seat in Majilis, as per the ruling of the Nur Otan Party Political Council dated September 21.
