AK-47s stolen from school

Two Kalashnikov rifles were stolen from a public school in Atyrau. The robbers penetrated into the educational facility and beat and tied up the security guard, writes Kazinform.

They walked inside the building virtually without obstacles - using a hammer they easily breached every door, as after the recent refurbishment all the new doors in the school were made of fibreboards.

The door of a basic military training room, from where the weapons were stolen, was like paper too. 

Although the stolen Ak-47s were training rifles, with special equipment at hand, they can be remade into combat weapons again, experts say.
