Kazakhstan collects information on influential bloggers

Secretary of State Marat Tazhin set a task to collect information about the most popular independent analysts, bloggers, and moderators of social networks who have a say in Kazakhstan.

"We need to create a data base on all independent analysts, bloggers and moderators of social networks who have a say in Kazakhstan. It has to be done within two months," M. Tazhin said at the meeting with the heads of Kazakh mass media in Astana on Friday.

"The work on information collection will start around April-May 2013. Every government organization needs to have such data bases,” he stressed.
