Prospects for Expanding Trade and Economic Cooperation Discussed in Texas

Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Houston, Gabidulla Ospankulov met with Texas Secretary of State Robert Howden at the Texas State Capitol.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues and prospects for developing cooperation between Kazakhstan and the State of Texas, with particular emphasis on expanding trade and economic ties, attracting investment, and strengthening business connections.

The Consul General emphasized that Texas, one of thelargest U.S. states by economic potential, is ofsignificant interest for developing trade and economicties with Kazakhstan.

The meeting underscored the important role of the Consulate General in facilitating economic ties and expanding cooperation between Kazakhstan and Texas. Information was also shared about the upcoming launch of consular services in Houston.

The parties expressed their interest in further strengthening their partnership, including through expanded cooperation in education, culture, and humanitarian affairs.
