On 23 April, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC QazaqGaz, Alibek Zhamauov, held a meeting with Zhong Fan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TapLine, in Zhuhai, China. During the talks, the parties discussed current cooperation and prospects for further collaboration in the gas sector.
It was noted that since 2009, the transit of Central Asian gas to China via Kazakhstan has been carried out on a stable basis. Over this period, the cumulative volume of transported gas has reached 506.5 billion cubic metres, reflecting the reliability and significance of this route for regional cooperation.
The sides also discussed the implementation of joint infrastructure projects aimed at further developing the gas transportation system and improving its efficiency.
QazaqGaz emphasised its readiness for constructive dialogue and for further strengthening the partnership in the implementation of joint plans.
