Construction of the Kashagan gas processing plant continues

About 2,000 specialists are involved at the site. About 170 employees employed in night shifts. There are about 340 units of construction equipment in operation. Special emphasis is placed on ensuring safe working conditions, including at night, reports QazaqGaz.

Progress on construction and installation works (CMP):

Installation chimneys completed; Works on concretingfoundations,installationandpainting of metal and maintenance sites, installation and strapping of technological equipment, as well as the assembly tanks types RVS-5000 and spherical tanks with a volume 600 m3 are carried out.;

The construction external engineering networks (NVK-2) . 

In the GPCI shift settlement, roof installation been completed in administrative and residential complex (ABC) and in two dormitories with 140 and 132 beds. Internal partitions are being installed and electrical installation works are underway in the buildings of dormitories for 140 and 132 places and ABCs, which are part of the permanent shift camp. Main types of work performed: 

• Concrete foundation work: 54,994 m3 completed (72.5% progress) 

• Installation metal structures: 4,865 tons (24%) 

• Installation mechanical equipment: 4,348 tons (44.6%) 

• Installation reservoirs: 1,215 tons (44.9%) 

• Laying underground pipelines: 20,976 m (48.7%) JSC NC QazaqGaz continues comprehensive monitoring of the project implementation, ensuring compliance with construction deadlines, as well as compliance with established quality and safety standards at all stages.
