Alibek Zhamauov Appointed Chairman of the Management Board of QazaqGaz

Nurlan Zhakuov, CEO of the Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund, introduced the new head of the national company to the QazaqGaz team, reports QazaqGaz. 

Nurlan Zhakuov, CEO of the Samruk-Kazyna Sovereign Wealth Fund, introduced the new head of the national company to the QazaqGaz team.

Prior to his appointment, Zhamauov served as Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Born in 1981 in Atyrau, Zhamauov is a graduate of Suleyman Demirel University and Satbayev Kazakh National Technical University.

He began his career in 2005 as a junior advisor at Agip Kazakhstan Caspian Operating.
