Kazakhstan and Hungary Strengthen Cooperation in Law Enforcement Sector

Budapest, February 10, 2025 – Abzal Saparbekuly, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary, met with Sándor Pintér, Minister of the Interior of Hungary.

During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on cooperation in the context of law enforcement, healthcare, education, and social sectors.

Ambassador Saparbekuly discussed ways to expand the legal framework between the Ministries of the Interior of Kazakhstan and Hungary and emphasized the need to strengthen mutual cooperation in law enforcement.

In turn, Minister Pintér noted that Hungary is ready to share its current experience in law enforcement, healthcare, and other areas, and to host Kazakh experts.

At the end of the meeting, the sides highlighted the importance of advancing the work of the Kazakhstan-Hungary Intergovernmental Commission on Combating Organized Crime, Terrorism, and the Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, and confirmed their readiness to fully support and develop the bilateral dialogue across the entire spectrum of Kazakhstan-Hungary relations.
