​Feasibility study for construction of 4th refinery in Kazakhstan to be developed by year end

Feasibility study for the construction of the fourth refinery in Kazakhstan will complete by 2016 end, Deputy Minister of Energy Asset Magauov told a media briefing in Astana on Tuesday.

The experts for preparation of the study have been approved already, he added.

"They said they need 8 months for the completion of the feasibility study. They will come up with recommendations on plant capacity, location, economic layout," he said.

In addition, he recalled that in the autumn of the current year it is planned to introduce binding of export customs duties to the international oil prices.
