Next week Baku will host the first meeting of ministers and heads of organizations on the Diaspora in states of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-speaking countries, the Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking countries (TurkPA) informed Trend on Thursday.
A meeting organized by the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora, where members of diasporas of Turkic countries will discuss joint activities in the international arena on issues of common interest, as well as a number of other matters, will be held on January 24-25.
The meeting will be attended by the Secretary General of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States Halil Akinci, chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora Nazim Ibragimov, TurkPA Secretary General Ramil Hasanov and representatives of government agencies on coordination of activities of the diaspora in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
