​Fines for Kazakhstani officials failing to provide data about budget expenses may reach 200 000 tenge

Fines will be applied to the heads of state bodies of Kazakhstan, which, according to the law on access to the information, will fail to publish the data about use of the budget funds, said Maulen Ashimbayev, Majilis deputy.

"The code of administrative violations prescribes the fines from 30 to 100 MCI. As for the state bodies the fines will be paid by the officials, but not by the state bodies, and not from the budget funds, but individually by the officials, who permit false information provision or failed to provide the appropriate information," said Ashimbayev.
