A key suspect in the Bangkok bombing has fled to Turkey, Thai police say.
Police say the man, who carried a Chinese passport in the name of Abudureheman Abudusataer, may have been the director of the bombing, which killed 20 people.
They had said he left Thailand for Bangladesh and perhaps headed for China but now a police spokesman has said he left Bangladesh on 30 August and headed for Istanbul via Delhi and Abu Dhabi.
According to the Thai and Bangladeshi police, Turkey is thought to be his final destination.
Several suspects in the 17 August bombing at the Erawan Shrine are thought to be Turkish.
