​August 12.Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan: border is open (photo report)

August 12, 2015 will become a historic day for the Kyrgyz Republic. Today the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev and Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev gave command to the heads of government to open the border at "Akzhol-avtodorozhny" customs checkpoint.

Treaty on accession of Kyrgyzstan to the EEU was signed in December 2014 at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Moscow. Today the Kyrgyz Republic becomes a full member of the organization.
