Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev met with Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov for discussion of economic cooperation issues between the two countries, the press service of the Russian Government said, azh. kz reports citing kapital.kz.
The talks between the two senior officials took place prior to the meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Union in Moscow on February 5.
The heads of government also discussed the agenda of the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Council that will be held on February 6.
The meeting will be attended by the heads of government of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
