"China is ready to build a nuclear fuel processing plant in Kazakhstan," Cao Shudong, deputy director general of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), said at the 8th sitting of the Sino-Kazakh subcommittee for energy cooperation held in Beijing, inform.kz reports.
"We are ready to build the nuclear fuel components processing plant in Kazakhstan to meet the demands of third countries thereby raising the added value of Kazatomprom products and upgrading its production line," he noted.
He also stressed that nuclear technologies export is China's state strategy. "We will export our third-generation technologies to the countries as Pakistan and Argentina," he said.
